Elevated family home for young growing family

Brief

Our clients were a young family seeking their long-term family home in an elevated position with good views. Having previously assisted the wife’s parents and three of her brothers, they approached us with confidence in our ability to deliver the right outcome.

Their search came with several challenges — there were limited opportunities within budget of $1.2M – $1.3M for 3-4 bedrooms on 600 sqm + land within the Eastern Suburbs. The husband was an architect, who had a strong appreciation for mid-century design, which further narrowed the field of suitable properties. The goal was to find a home that combined architectural character with family functionality, in a location that offered both outlook and future growth potential.

Solution

After several months refining a very specific brief and keeping compromises to a minimum we secured a property in Ringwood North at auction amid highly competitive bidding. The home balances daily convenience with a quiet, leafy setting close to Ringwood’s shops, cafés and transport. This home’s elevation, period features and location suggest outperformance. A great result for our clients), achieved just as planned by staying disciplined and acting decisively when the right opportunity emerged.

Testimonial

We had a great experience working with Leigh at Buyer’s Advocate. From the outset, Leigh really took the time to listen and put in a lot of effort to understand exactly what we were looking for. He paid close attention to our priorities—not just from our initial brief, but also as we refined our thinking through feedback and discussions around various properties.

Leigh kept in regular contact throughout the process, providing market updates and reassurance, which helped us stay confident in our decisions. He was always friendly, approachable, and easy to understand.

Auction day was where Leigh’s professionalism and strategic approach really shone. We went in with a well thought out plan, and it was a huge relief knowing we didn’t have to make snap decisions under pressure. It was genuinely enjoyable to watch the strategy unfold just as we had discussed.

Overall, Leigh was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. We’re very grateful for his guidance and would highly recommend him to anyone navigating the property market.
